1. Click on one of the links above to start the Quicksilver program downloading to your computer.

2. Choose to Save not Open as you need to download the file to your computer to be able to install it. Save it to your desktop or somewhere else that is easy to find. Be patient - the file is about 7Mb in size and may take a while to download.

3. Once it is downloaded, double click on the file and follow the prompts to install the program.

4. Once it is installed, start the program. An image that looks something like a Palm Pilot will appear on your screen.

5. On this image is a button that says Activate. Press this button and it will take you to a web page.

6. The page will ask you for a Username and Password. Just enter the Username and Password for your dial up account, or the Username and Password we gave you for your stand alone version of Quicksilver. Press Submit and a web page will return confirming that your Quicksilver accelerator is installed and active.

7. Close this web page and the Palm Pilot looking image, the control interface for the Quicksilver accelerator, will have several green lights on it and the lightning bolt ball will be turning. Quicksilver is now active and you will never have to do this again. It will automatically activate each time you start your computer (It is set to do this by default. You can change this if you like). Take a little time to play with the interface. It has a lot of useful features.
