Windows XP Set up Instructions

For XP Home Edition

1.

• Click on Start.
  
• Then Network Connections.

• Double click New Connection Wizard.

For XP Professional Edition

1.

• Click Start, then Connect To, then Show all connections.

2.

• Click Create a new connection.

Now continue for both XP Home and Professional Editions

3.

• Click Next .

4.

• Click Connect to the Internet.

5.

• Click Set up my connection manually.

6.

• Click Connect using a dial-up modem.

7.

• Type Internet Express into the field.

8.

• Enter the phone number assigned for your area. If you do not have a phone number yet, visit our access number page.

9.

• Enter your username and password into the appropriate fields. Enter your username as shown (username@ixpres.com).

10.

• Check Add a shortcut... to add a shortcut to your desktop.

11.

• Verify that the shortcut is listed in your Start menu under the Connect To option, or is available on the Desktop. Double click either icon.

12.

• Verify that the information is correct, then click Dial to connect!
