1.

• Before this screen, a smaller screen may appear.
  
• If so make sure "PPP" is highlighted and select the "More" button.
  
• Then make your screen look identical to the one shown above.
  
• Then select the "OK" button and close.
  
• NOTE: If prompted to save, press "Save".
  
• Finally restart and move on to FreePPP Setup.

• FreePPP Setup can be opened two ways.
  
• 1. Click on the Phone icon located on the top right of your screen or...
  
• 2. Select the "Apple" button, then "Control Panel", and select FreePPP Setup.
  
• NOTE: If entire screen is not shown above, click on the blue triangle on the bottom left.
  
• Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  
• Then click on the "New" button.

• Under Server name type Internet Express.
  
• Under Phone number type in an Internet Express access number that is toll free for you. For a complete list of toll-free numbers, press HERE.
  
• Set the box next to Connect to Directly.
  
• Under User name type in your UserID.
  
• Under Password type in your password.
  
• Make sure all letters are lower case.

  
  

• NOTE: If you are outside San Diego County, your User ID must be followed with @ixpres.com (example: UserID@ixpres.com)

  
  

• Then select "OK".
• Make sure the "Connect to" say's Internet Express.
• Press Connect to get on the Internet.
• Click on your Browser.
• Have fun surfing the net!
