Instructions for Multiple Computer users on a Network(for
clients with a SpeedStream or Cisco DSL Bridge)
If you are a residential DSL client, then you most likely have
a SpeedStream or Cisco Bridge. It converts the
DSL signal coming from your wall jack to an ethernet signal
that you plug into a Hub. This allows your computers to share
access to the Internet and access to information between computers.
To get multiple computers on a Network or LAN to share Internet
access, they must be assigned discretePublic or Private IP Addresses.
You will need to know those addresses to complete this set up. If
you are not sure what your IP Addresses are, call Internet
Express' tech support (888-FAST DSL) and askfor them. Then continue
to the next step.
1.
- Bring up the ZoneAlarm Control Window.
