56k Line Test Information

1.

• Open HyperTerminal - Press Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, Hyper Terminal
  
• Double Click Hypertrm.exe
  
• At the prompt type "Line Test". Then press "OK."

2.

• Enter 1-847-262-6000 for the telephone number.
  
• (NOTE: This may be a long distance phone call)
  
• Then press "OK."

• At the next prompt press "DIAL."
• You will then hear it dial and connect.

3.

• At this screen press the "Enter" key.

4.

• When it prompts for you first name, enter "Line Test" exactly how you see it above. Then press "Enter."

5.

• It will then proceed to test your line. A screen will show it's testing.

• Afterwards it will display the results.
  
• When done, click on Call, Disconnect and close Hyper Terminal.
